WWE: The latest episode of Friday Night Smackdown was filled with unexpected betrayal, chaos, and sudden twists that will blow your mind off. So, if you thought this Bloodline Saga had nothing to offer, you were wrong.
What went down on the August 12 episode of Smackdown might be written down in the history of this Bloodline saga. It can change the whole story for good and might give us that Four-way match we desire.
After Jimmy betrayed Jey during WWE Summerslam 2023, many fans left the stadium in confusion. But now it looks like those confusions have been answered. And what we got was another chapter in this long saga.
The Real Reason
Finally, after a week’s break, we learned why Jimmy betrayed Jey at Summerslam in 2023. And the reason was not jealousy or hate that everyone thought it would be. But it was love for his brother.
Jimmy stated that he couldn’t let Jey win against Roman Reigns as it would have made him just like Roman. He did not want his brother to become lying, egotistical, and manipulative like Roman.

After this revelation, Jey had nothing but empathy and love for his brother. But his love for Roman and Solo just increased that much more. As Jimmy left the ring, the Tribal Chief and Solo tried to attack Jey.
But The Main Event Jey fends them off and wreaks havoc in the rain. But the real twist came after this beatdown. First he kicked his brother Jimmy in the face, and as he left the arena, he stated, “I’m out of The Bloodline. I’m out of SmackDown. I’m out of WWE.”
Does that mean we will never see Jey in the ring again, or is it just a storyline to write him off for a while? We hope it is the latter because this story is far from over, and we want to see the end.
