WWE

Friday Night Smackdown garnered best rating on FS-1 with Bloodline-Saga as the center. A New WWE Tag Team champ can be crowned at Summerslam

WWE: The Bloodline-Saga is the hottest storyline in all of Wrestling right now. No other storyline has gathered this much traction. And the fact that this story has been going on for two years and still has something to offer is truly amazing.

And the fans are loving the story now that it is at its last legs. The Bloodline saga may most definitely end on Summerslam 2023. And none of the fans wants to miss the ending of this storyline.

And this has resulted in Smackdown getting its best ratings on FS-1 cable in its history. On the other hand, there might be new tag team champions at Summerslam 2023 as WWE had to do some major tweaks due to real-life injuries.

Best Ratings On FS-1

The Friday Night Smackdown is considered the best-run wrestling program currently. And the numbers it attracted on the cable channel are evidence of that. Smackdown last Friday was viewed by 1.23 million viewers.

To put that in context, Smackdown was moved from Fox network to cable television this week due to accommodate Fifa Women’s World Cup. In the last two times on FS1, Smackdown has attracted 902,000 and 835,000 viewers. This was only the third time that Smackdown garnered over a million viewers on FS1.

New WWE Tag Team Champ

According to various reports, Kevin Owens is legitimately injured. And will be on the shelf for a long period of time. And due to that WWE might need to think differently and will be forced to crown a new tag team champion.

This could happen as soon as Summerslam 2023. A triple-threat Tag Team match between Alpha Academy, Judgement Day, and Brawling Brutes might be the best way to do so.
