WWE: Summerslam 2023 Concludes With A Bang; Check Out The Results Here

WWE

WWE biggest party of the summer just ended and it was a massive and brilliant event. Check out the shocking results here.

WWE: The Biggest Party of the Summer ended with more questions than answers. And that is always a good feeling when you turn off a wrestling show. It helps you to watch the show next week to see what will happen.

And Summerslam 2023 was the perfect match for that. A build to a WWE Premium Live Event felt premium for the first time in a long while. And it won’t be wrong to say that the product delivered as well apart from some hiccups.

Logan Paul Vs. Richochet

It was shocking that WWE started Summerslam with this match rather than the Royal Rumble. But it was the right decision. A brilliant match between two very athletic wrestlers that stole the show and got the audience in the right mindset for the upcoming matches.

Both guys stole the show and made extraordinary moves from every part of the ring. Logan once again proved why he is such a good heel when he punched Richochet with brass knuckles and won the match.

Cody Rhodes Vs. Brock Lesnar

Many fans wanted some stipulation to this match, but Brock’s match works best when doing a standard match. And this time, it worked as well. Brock Lesnar ruined Cody for more than 15 minutes. He was using him like a ragdoll all around the ring.

But an amazing comeback by Cody when he landed three straight Cross Rhodes to pin “The Beast Incarnate.” Lesnar doubled down on putting over Cody as he shook his hand and hugged him after the match. Surely, it is the Universal championship for Cody after this.

LA Knight Wins The Battle Royale

Finally, the right decision was made, and we hope this is the start of the push for LA Knight. AJ Styles, Sheamus, and LA Knight were the final three in a dull affair. Karian Kross interfered and helped the other two to eliminate AJ Styles. And then LA Knight threw Sheamus over the top rope to win the match.

Shayna Bazler Vs. Ronda Rousey – MMA Rules Match

It was a very awkward match, which is a shame because both women are very good at what they do. But the story ended with Shayna Bazler standing tall and Ronda Rousey on her way out of the company for an unprecedented time.

The match’s finish was cool, as Shayna made Ronda pass out. The finish establishes Shayna as a monster again, and the way is surely up from here.

Gunther Retained His Intercontinental Championship Against Drew McIntyre

Well, this might have been the best match of the night. This was just two big men slapping each other, and it was brilliant. “The Ring General” kicked out of the claymore kick and defeated The Scottish Warrior after a brilliant exchange on the top rope.

Gunther must hold on to the title for 38 more days to become the longest-reigning Intercontinental champion and break Honky Tonk Man’s record.

Seth Rollins Vs. Finn Balor – WWE Heavyweight Championship

Everyone really wanted Finn to win, but no one would complain that Seth Rollins won the match. The match was good, as everyone expected from these two. With several callbacks to their match 7 years prior, this was a brilliantly put-out match.

The match teased the cracks between The Judgement Day as Damian Priest came out with the Money In The Bank briefcase. That distracted Finn and ultimately resulted in his loss.

Iyo Sky – The New Women’s Champion

Yes, you heard that right. After Bianca Beliar defeated Asuka and Charlotte Flair and won the title, Damage CTRL strolled down the ring, and Iyo Sky cashed her MITB contract. She pinned Bianca to become the new WWE Women’s Champion.

Roman Reigns Vs. Jey USO – WWE Universal Championship – Trial Combat Match

This story is far from over, and today’s match proved exactly that. The intensity was at an all-time high, and just when we thought Jey was going all the way, Jimmy turned on his brother. Jimmy entered with a mask and pulled out his brother while he was pinning Roman.

Delivered a super kick, stood over Jey USO like he was some dead corpse, and left the ring. Reigns did not let the moment go and speared Jey and pinned him down. So, Roman is still your Tribal Chief and WWE Universal Champion.
