WWE: Summerslam 2023 added another chapter to the never-ending saga of Bloodline story, which was heartbreaking. Jimmy USO did what no one thought he would, which might have been the most heinous crime ever.
The match between Jey USO and Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship was underwhelming compared to their previous matches. But at this point, you can’t have a Bloodline match without any plot twist.
And this match was the same because the plot twist that took place match shattered everyone in the arena. It was brutal, and most importantly, it was brilliantly executed.
WWE: A Physical War
The Trial Combat match was filled with intensity from the first second. It was a no-hold-barred match, and it was brutal. Kendo sticks were introduced in just 5 minutes; tables were breaking down, wrestlers were sent into the barricade, and it was just pure violence.
Solo Sikoa tried to interfere, but Jey took care of him and sent him flying outside. He would not stop until he made Roman pay for what he did. And after a brilliant frog splash from the top rope, the match was almost over. The match was in Jey USO’s palms when something shocked the whole arena.
Another Plot Twist
A masked man pulled Jey out of the ring while pinning Roman down. The whole arena was shocked alongside Jey. Who can this masked man be? After all, Jey had already taken care of Solo.
A superkick to Jey cleared all the doubts that this masked man was none other than Jimmy. The real brother of Jey, for whom Jey was putting his life on the line. The whole arena went silent like they had seen some kind of death.
Jimmy pushed his brother inside the ring, and Roman Reigns delivered a spear to a lifeless Jey to finish the match. This story can go in many ways from now on, and a Fatal 4-way between all four family members at Survivor Series looks like the perfect option.
