Delhi NCR Earthquake: At around 2:25 pm, Delhi NCR residents reported feeling strong earthquake shocks. This earthquake had a magnitude of about 6.2. Nepal is thought to be its epicentre. The earthquake in Nepal was of 4.6 magnitude. Following the tremors, the populace fell into a state of terror. There were two to three of these tremors.

Earthquake Rattles Delhi NCR and Neighboring Regions

Along with Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, and Faridabad were also affected by the earthquake’s vibrations. The earthquake’s Richter scale magnitude was recorded as being 4.6. This has been verified by the National Seismology Centre. Since Nepal served as the earthquake’s epicentre, tremors could also be felt in numerous North Indian states as well as the states that bordered Nepal.

An earthquake’s size is determined using the Richter scale. This name refers to the Richter Magnitude Test Scale. Earthquakes are rated on the Richter scale, which has a scale from 1 to 9. It is determined by the quantity of energy released by an earthquake from deep inside the Earth. This intensity determines the magnitude of the earthquake.
