Jaipur School Bomb Threat: At least four schools in Jaipur, Rajasthan, received bomb threats via email on Monday, according to police there. According to news agency PTI, staff members and students have been evacuated from the impacted schools by the authorities. To further look into the threats, police teams have also sent dog squads, bomb squads, and bomb squads to the schools.
Police Response to Bomb Threats
According to a PTI report, Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said, “Four-five schools have received bomb threat. Police have reached the schools.” Police confirmed that a team is currently working to identify the sender of the threatening emails and stated that the threat was sent via email.
DCP East Jaipur Kavendra Sagar said, “Threatening emails have been sent to some schools of the city including Maheshwari School (MPS International School). Currently, the bomb disposal squad is carrying out searches in the school.”
130 Schools Evacuated in Delhi-NCR Due to Bomb Threats
Students in about 130 schools in the Delhi-NCR area were quickly evacuated from the premises after receiving bomb threat emails earlier this month. The emails, which were sent to schools in Delhi-NCR, came from a Russian server, according to police officials.
Delhi Police Trace Bomb Threats to Russian Domain
The domain of the emails was traced back to Russia by the special cell of the Delhi Police’s anti-terror unit. The dark web, a portion of the encrypted internet that allows users to hide their identity and location from others, is thought to have been used to create the emails.
