Arvind Kejriwal: In a significant development, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was taken into custody on Thursday following a visit by officials from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to his residence.
Earlier in the day, the Delhi High Court declined to provide Kejriwal with protection against coercive action in connection to the excise policy case.

According to ED officials, they had visited the Chief Minister’s office to serve summons related to the liquor case. However, conflicting reports emerged suggesting that the officials arrived with a search warrant, hinting at a potential raid on Kejriwal’s house. Reports indicated that Kejriwal might be subjected to interrogation.
The ED had previously issued nine summonses to Arvind Kejriwal, urging him to cooperate with the investigation into the alleged money laundering case linked to the Delhi liquor excise policy scam. However, Kejriwal had skipped these summons, including the most recent one issued for March 21.
