“We have formed a trustworthy government in Punjab and we use all the tax money transparently for public welfare. By the grace of the almighty, this is a unique opportunity for all of us to join hands to realise the dream of ‘Rangla Punjab’.”
Arvind Kejriwal lauds Bhagwant Mann
Arvind Kejriwal lauded CM Bhagwant Mann for taking difficult decision to prevent violence and bloodshed in the state. He also assured the people of Punjab that those who try to disturb the peace and harmony in the state will be held accountable. “Tough decisions might be necessary but the party will not hesitate to take them for the betterment of people,” Kejriwal said.
‘AAP has no setting with anyone’
Kejriwal further said that the government will track down those who sell drugs. “Currently, drug peddlers are fleeing Punjab but drug use has not completely ceased. The government needs the support of the people to eradicate it completely, he said.
He further asserted that the law and order situation in Punjab has improved after AAP came in power.
“Previously, big gangsters and criminals were associated with some political parties or leaders. However, as the Aam Aadmi Party has no ‘setting’ with anyone, in the last year, gangsters and criminals have been caught and put in jail. The focus now is on providing education and employment for the people instead of drugs and guns,” he said.
