Arvind Kejriwal’s Bold Questions to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Modi’s Politics and BJP’s Path

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal recently held a “Janta Ki Adalat” at Jantar Mantar, where he posed five sharp questions to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. Arvind Kejriwal’s questions centered around the role of RSS in supporting the actions of the BJP and Prime Minister Modi.

1. Is RSS Okay with Modi Using ED and CBI to Topple Governments?

Kejriwal questioned whether RSS agrees with Modi’s approach of using central agencies like the ED (Enforcement Directorate) and CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) to pressure and intimidate leaders from other parties, leading to the collapse of opposition-led governments. He asked, “Do you think this is good for India’s democracy? Don’t you believe this harms our democratic system?”

2. Is RSS Happy with Modi Including Corrupt Leaders in BJP?

He also pointed out that many of the country’s most corrupt politicians have been welcomed into the BJP, despite Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah previously labeling these same leaders as corrupt. “Did you ever imagine BJP would work this way? Do you agree with this kind of politics?” Kejriwal asked.

3. Does RSS Approve of BJP’s Current Path?

Kejriwal reminded everyone that BJP was born from the RSS and questioned if the RSS still holds the responsibility to ensure BJP doesn’t stray from the right path. “Are you happy with BJP’s actions today? Have you ever asked Modi to stop doing this?” Kejriwal probed.

4. Did JP Nadda’s Comment Hurt RSS?

Kejriwal referred to BJP president JP Nadda’s comment during an election, where Nadda allegedly said BJP doesn’t need RSS anymore. Kejriwal questioned whether this statement hurt RSS members. “RSS is like a mother to BJP. Has the son grown so big that he’s now showing disrespect to his mother? When Nadda said this, did it not hurt you? Didn’t it hurt every RSS worker?”

5. Will the 75-Year Rule Apply to Modi?

Kejriwal raised the issue of the retirement rule, which states that any leader above the age of 75 must retire. This rule was applied to veteran leaders like LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi. However, now there are claims that this rule won’t apply to Modi. “Do you agree with this? Shouldn’t the rule that applied to Advani also apply to Modi?” Kejriwal asked.
