Begusarai News: In a distressing event, several students in Sheikhpura, Begusarai, Bihar, were admitted to the hospital on Wednesday as a result of heatwave-induced fainting episodes. Concerns have been raised as a result of the unusually high temperatures, which have made residents quite uncomfortable.

Students Faint in Sheikhpura

Unsettling footage from Madhya Vidyalaya Mankaul in the Sheikhpura district was making the rounds on social media. Owing to the intense heat, more than sixteen kids were observed fainting or collapsing. Friends hurried to help their suffering classmates in the upsetting visuals, and professors also offered support under the dire circumstances.

Medical Response

Dr. Rajnikanth Kumar from Sadar Hospital Sheikhpura talking to ANI said, “Due to rising temperature, the students are facing difficulties. The students admitted here are stable now.” Another Doctor, Dr Satyendra, Sadar Hospital Sheikhpura says “Students should be hydrated always. They should drink as much water as possible. It is recommended to not come out in the heat. Water bottles should be carried by all the students…”

IMD’s Heatwave Alert

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued a severe heatwave advisory for five districts in Bihar when the incident happened. A record-breaking 47 degrees Celsius was reported in Aurangabad, breaking a 54-year-old mark established in Gaya. The districts of Buxar, Aurangabad, Gaya, Kaimur, and Rohtas are predicted to be affected by the heatwave by the IMD, while Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Bhabua, Rohtas, Aurangabad, and Nawada are also under further alert.
