Bengaluru News: Three accused identified as Shabarish, Vinay Reddy and Santosh have been arrested by the Bengaluru Police for murder of Chief Executive officer(CEO) and Managing Director (MD) of a tech company. The accused were ex-employees of the tech firm and had resigned to form their own company. As per police, the rivals had motive for murder and they intended to poach the employees and clients to their own firm.
July 11 Double Murder
Victims identified as Phanindra Subramanya and Vinu Kumar were the MD and the CEO of Aeronics Internet Company. They held rivalry with their ex-employees of which Shabarish had a particular deep grudge against Phanindra. The MD had voiced strong vocal opposition to industry practices used by Shabarish. On Tuesday, Shabarish entered the office space around 4:00 PM with a sword and knife. He stabbed both of his ex-bosses and fled the crime scene.
Investigation
Deputy commissioner of police, Bengaluru (North-East) Laxmi Prasad had said, “The accused entered into the office and attacked the CEO and MD with a sword. Both died while on the way to hospital. The investigation is underway.” He further added that Shabarish was assisted by two others in his crime. All the three accused have been arrested by the police.
Confirming the arrest, a senior officer said “We have video evidence to prove that the three have committed the crime. We will now seek their custody and interrogate them for more details.”
After fleeing the crime scene Shabarish fled with others and reached Majestic via a car. They then proceeded to board a train to Kunigal. The police tracked CCTV footages and made arrest after following in on details.
