Bhagwant Mann: Asserting that there is no shortage of funds for the welfare of the people, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced on Saturday a complete transformation of the state’s education, health, and employment sectors.
The Chief Minister, who paid a surprise visit to a local health centre, stated that the state government is committed to revitalising these sectors in order to benefit the people. He stated that a major emphasis is being placed on these sectors in order to ensure that more and more people can benefit from them. Bhagwant Mann stated that no stone will be left unturned in support of this noble cause because these sectors are directly related to people’s well-being.
Bhagwant Mann clarifies purpose of surprise inspections
According to the Chief Minister, the purpose of these surprise inspections is not to find fault, but to ensure people’s safety. He stated that the clear goal of such initiatives is to check the arrangements at the micro level for providing quality health care to people. According to Bhagwant Mann, none of the previous governments paid enough attention to these sectors, causing the state to lag behind.
The Chief Minister announced that the Kurali Health Centre would be completely renovated and that people would receive high-quality health care there. He stated that this centre will be outfitted with cutting-edge technology to ensure that people are not inconvenienced. According to Bhagwant Mann, the state government is committed to make sure the service reach people at home.
People getting efficient services at Aam Aadmi clinics
The Chief Minister also stated that a new revolution has occurred in the state in the form of Aam Aadmi clinics, where people are receiving quality health care. He stated that by January 27th, 500 such clinics will be operational throughout the state. According to Bhagwant Mann, people will be able to get free diagnostic and treatment services, as well as free clinical tests, at these clinics.
Similarly, the Chief Minister stated that the state government is establishing new medical colleges in almost every district of the state. He stated that the infrastructure in government hospitals is being upgraded so that they do not merely serve as referral centres. According to Bhagwant Mann, the first hour is crucial in the event of an emergency, so focus is to save the lives in golden hour.
