Bigg Boss OTT 2 Winner Elvish Yadav has reportedly registered an FIR after getting an extortion call. On October 25, a case was filed with Gurugram Police. Elvish told police that he received a call from an unknown number seeking Rs 1 crore in extortion. According to media accounts, Elvish received a phone call from the village of Wazirabad.
Following the extortion call, Elvish filed a complaint at Gurugram’s Sector 53 police station against an unknown individual. Elvish has yet to respond to the situation or the phone call but the police arrested a man in connection with an extortion call.
Gurugram Police Arrests a Man in Connection with Extortion Call
The YouTuber and social media star has sought help from Gurugram Police in the extortion case, and they were investigating the matter. Now the latest news has come that Gurugram Police has arrested a man from Gujarat who was in connection with those who demanded ransom of Rs 1 crore from Elvish Yadav. Varun Dahiya ACP Crime Branch says, “Gurugram Police with cooperation from Gujarat Police has arrested one Shakir Makrani, a resident of Vadnagar. He was influenced by Yadav; to earn money he made this plan to make extortion call.”
