Bihar News: Nitish govt faces country’s widespread clamor against it in wake of series of ghastly criminal incidents in every district. RJD state president Jagdanand Singh announced the party programme to hold statewide protests on July 20 against the deteriorating law and order situation.

Outcry over recent incidents

Recent incidents have only added fuel to the fire of public outrage as well as political controversy. This includes the gruesome murder of Mukesh Sahni’s father, who was stated to be currently under Bihar Police’s investigation. Presently, another incident that happened recently concerned the murder of a father and his daughter in Saran, which certainly aroused the feelings of restive people, even when prompt police arrival led to the arrest of the accused.

Jagdanand Singh condemned Nitish government, saying this is a continuous decline of law and order. JDU leader Neeraj Kumar came to the defense, assuring the people that the police are not leaving any stone unturned in bringing the perpetrators to book. He appealed to the political opponents to cooperate with the police instead of making political mileage out of the mishaps. Union Ministers Ramnath Thakur and Giriraj Singh echoed the sentiments of Kumar, reassuring that investigations are in full swing, and efforts will be made toward arresting those responsible.

Criticized by Tejashwi Yadav

The former Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, through a X, said the recent scary incidents in Bihar suggest that there is no security or safety in the Nitish government. Supporting his argument, he arrived at the end of his commentary by stating that it was a list just to bring forth the apprehension of rising violence in the state by individuals from all cross-sections.

Calls for Justice Responsible Accountable

With rising crime graphs and political turmoil, the cry for justice has reached a crescendo in Bihar. Public agitation programs by the opposition parties reflect growing anger against the present dispensation over the deteriorating law and order situation.
