Bihar News: Portion of a bridge washed away in Bihar’s Vaishali due to the strong winds and bad weather. The bridge connects Raghopur to the Vaishali District.The Pipa bridge located in Raghopur was being washed away in the Ganga river. The city has been witnessing heavy rainfall and thunder storms for the last few days. The traffic is also badly affected due to the rain. Lots of people can be seen standing on the bridge after the incident.
IMD: More Rains expected in coming days
The residents have been witnessing light showers from last night as predicted by the Weather Department. IMD has also issued warning for more rains in the next four days. The South West Monsoon hit the city on June 12th . The other areas which got normal rainfall are banka, Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Supaul, Begusarai and Sabour. Last week the pillar of an under construction bridge buried near the Gori village. An eyewitness said that the incident happened due to the callous attitude of the Engineer.
