Bihar Weather Update: IMD Predicts Heavy Rain in 20 districts, Kaimur hospital inundated, check details

Patna News: After battling with humidity and scorching heat for the past few week, the Met Department predicts Heavy rain alert for the 20 districts including the city. Cities like Katihar, Goplaganj, Madhepura and Samastipur already witnessed light Rain showers since morning. On the other hand, these cities, kaimur, Nalanda, Buxar, Jehanabad, Sasaram, Supaul had dark clouds since early morning. There has been an incident of a couple’s death due to lightening in Vaishali. According to the Weather Department, all the districts including the Patna city will witness heavy downpour till 26th of August.

Kaimur Hospital turned into Pond

These cities received maximum rainfall, East Champaran, Araria, Muzafarpur, Madhepura and Purnea. Amid heavy rains, the Mohania Sub Division Hospital turned into a pond with all the drain water entered inside the hospital. The emergency ward of the hospital was also flooded and patients were treated in the middle of the rain water.

Chhapra filled with Water

The Saran district has been witnessing heavy rains for the last 24 hours. Water has entered inside the Chhapra Municipal Corporation. The main roads of the city, Gandhi Chowk, main Bazar Chowk are also flooded with rain water
