Bihar Weather Update: At a time when its already raining in Patna, IMD Predicts more rains in the 8 districts of Bihar. The city is witnessing down pour since last night. Areas like Sitamarhi, Jamui, Motihari, Buxar, Shekhpura, Jehanabad and Nalanda have also received rain for the past few days. However IMD issues an alert of heavy rains in the 18 districts of Bihar. Apart from this, met Department issues Rain Lightening alert in Vaishali, Sitamarhi, Jamui, Munger, Banka, Bhagalpur, Kahgaria, Kishenganj.
IMD Predicts more rains with humidity
According to the IMD, The weather will remain cloudy with light showers in the next coming weeks also and people will also feel humid. It started raining heavily in Patna on Sunday night. Rain was accompanied with thunder lightening and strong wind. People felt relieved from the scorching heat after the rains. Monsoon turf line is passing through the foothill of Himalayas says the Met Department.
West Champaran recorded maximum Rainfall
Maximum Rainfall was recorded by West Champaran in Bihar, while Patna recorded 26.4 mm of rain. Overall state received 577.5 mm of rains. Bihar will continue to receive rain in the coming 4-5 days.
