BJP Haryana Manifesto: The Bharatiya Janata Party, in Rohtak on Thursday, released its manifesto, or ‘Sankalp Patra,’ for Haryana Assembly polls, promising tremendous changes if it returns to power. The party released the 24-page manifesto in the presence of BJP President JP Nadda, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, and state BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli, outlining 20 major commitments targeted at different sections of society.
Monthly Income Boost for Women
The Laado Lakshmi scheme is one of the main promises: it would provide women Rs 2,100 as their new monthly income. The BJP also promised at least 2 lakh jobs for unemployed youth and gas cylinders to cook food at Rs 500 through the Har Ghar Grihini Yojna. Scholarships for students from the OBC and SC community will be provided to study in government medical and engineering colleges in the country under this manifesto.
JP Nadda here underlined party’s delivery track record, mentioning how the economy under the BJP leadership had seen considerable growth. He cited that Haryana’s per capita income moved from Rs 1.37 lakh in 2014 to Rs 3 lakh. Export figures, he also noted, have rallied from Rs 68,000 crore to Rs 2.5 lakh crore.
Election Timeline
The BJP has also pledged MSP for 24 other crops when the only option remains to go back to becoming the chief minister to organize a government. Moreover, each Agniveer belonging to Haryana will be employed by the government. Congress party has succeeded in doing so much even before that as seven guarantees by introducing to its people under the leadership of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and other senior leaders. The electoral battle will reach its culmination on October 5, when voting for the 90-member Haryana Assembly will take place in one phase. The results will be counted on October 8, deciding the course of future direction the state is going to take.
