Sana Khan, the Minority Wing Chief of BJP’s Maharashtra division, who had been reported missing for the past week, has been confirmed as a victim of murder by the Jabalpur Police. In a collaborative effort, the Jabalpur and Nagpur Police successfully apprehended the primary suspect, identified as Amit alias Pappu Sahu i.e. her husband.
Financial disputes had been a persistent issue with the couple
Sana had traveled from Nagpur to Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur to meet Amit. She had intended to return home within a span of two days, but unfortunately, she did not come back. Amit, who was engaged in a liquor smuggling operation and operated a roadside eatery near Jabalpur, was earlier known to be associated with this case. Ongoing disagreements between Sana and Pappu concerning financial dealings had been a persistent issue with the couple.
In the course of the interrogation, Amit confessed to the murder of Sana Khan. He revealed that he had assaulted Sana within his residence, resulting in her demise. Subsequently, he proceeded to dispose of her body by discarding it into the Hiran River, located around 45 kilometers from Jabalpur. In light of this shocking revelation, law enforcement officials have commenced a comprehensive examination of the crime scene, accompanied by the apprehended suspect.

Police interrogating Sana Khan’s husband
After Sana Khan’s arrival in Jabalpur from Nagpur on August 2, her subsequent disappearance raised significant alarm. Despite her family’s diligent search upon arriving in Jabalpur, her location remained unknown.
As per the police report, Sana and Amit were married and embroiled in a longstanding financial conflict. Sana had traveled from Nagpur to Jabalpur to meet Amit, and their encounter escalated into a heated exchange. Soon, Amit’s actions turned violent as he struck Sana on the head, leading to her untimely demise. At present, the police are intensively questioning the apprehended suspect.
