IIT BHU: An IIT BHU girl student was the victim of a serious crime committed by miscreants around midnight. When the student was first stopped by young people on bikes at around two in the evening, she was wandering the campus with her pals. then gave his companion a beating. They then grabbed up the student and carried him off. The female student was allegedly abused by those young people, who also allegedly tore her clothes and abandoned her on the side of the road in an unattractive state.
Students Take to the Streets
IIT BHU students have been living on the streets since the morning following this significant incident. In addition, all of the institute’s departments’ classes are cancelled. The irate students claim that girls are not safe on campus. Most areas of the campus are unattended by security officers. Additionally malfunctioning are the campus and resident hall CCTV systems.
Recorded An Offensive Video of the Girl
Deepak Thakur, a student at IIT BHU, claims that these kinds of things occur on campus often. If the ardent teenagers are to be believed, they have also recorded an offensive video of the girl and stored her telephone number during this encounter.
Multiple Suspects Present During the Incident
Three or four young people were reportedly present at the location when the incident occurred. They haven’t been identified, though. Police are currently also on the scene following this incident. According to Bhelupur ACP Praveen Singh, the pupils have been approached about this. Negotiations are underway. In response to their allegation, the police will proceed further.
