CM Yogi Adityanath: Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, presided over a high-level conference on “law and order” on Thursday in response to the encounter-related death of Atiq Ahmed, a gangster-turned-politician, and his son Asad. Additionally, he gave the Special Task Force (STF) unit credit for their participation in the shootout. Yogi Adityanath was informed of the encounter, according to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s Office, by the Principal Secretary (Home). The Chief Minister was also given a report on this subject.

The CM was presented with a report regarding the entire situation, according to the statement. According to police, Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad was killed in a shootout with the UP Special Task Force near Jhansi on Thursday.
Keshav Prasad Maurya praised the state Special Task Force
This morning, Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were moved to Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh’s CJM Court. Keshav Prasad Maurya, the deputy chief minister, praised the state Special Task Force for stopping Asad and his assistant and called the action a “message to criminals.” I congratulate UP STF for this step, Maurya said. After they (Asad and his aide Ghulam) fired upon them, the police retaliated by opening fire. “It sends the message that this is the new India to crooks.
