The Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have strongly criticized Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar over a video in which he responded to a woman’s request for the construction of a factory by saying, “We will send you to the Moon on Chandrayaan-4.”

The AAP shared the video on X (formerly Twitter) and expressed disappointment, stating that elected officials are mocking the public. They emphasized that the woman’s only “crime” was seeking employment in a factory. The AAP also remarked that if the same request had come from wealthy individuals connected to Prime Minister Modi, Khattar would have accommodated them wholeheartedly.
The Congress party characterized Manohar Lal Khattar’s response as “shameless” and alleged that it reflected the BJP and the RSS’s mindset. They asserted that the BJP and the RSS lacked respect for women and failed to provide them with adequate representation.
