Conjunctivitis Delhi: With the rise in Conjunctivitis cases in the Rainy season, the Arunachal Pradesh Administration has sent an advisory for the schools to ask the students or teachers to remain indoors with the increasing cases of the eye infection. The Government has ordered that both the Private and the Govt schools should be shut.
‘Children should stay at home if feeling unwell’
The schools of Delhi and NCR have also sent an advisory to the school, parents, children and authorities to shut the schools amid rise in Conjunctivitis cases. Schools have requested the parents not to send their children to schools if they are unwell, and also to consult a doctor and not do self-medication. The advisory also says that one should cover his mouth during sneezing and do not touch eyes directly without the use of a hankerchief. Do not share your food with anyone if you are suffering from Conjunctivitis.
‘This infection is contagious and can spread easily‘
According to the Doctors, this infection is highly contagious and it can spread easily. All those who are suffering from pain in eyes, itchiness, excessive tearing and a gritty feeling in the eye should immediately contact the doctor and avoid stepping out and stay indoors until you feel better with proper medication.
