Counterfeit Currency Ring Busted in Muzaffarnagar, Fake Rs 200 Notes Worth Over 8 Lakh Seized

Muzaffarnagar News: Budhana of Muzaffarnagar was printing fake 200 rupee notes. Six persons were captured during the raid by Police Station Budhana and SOG. They were found in possession of fake Indian currency worth more than Rs 8 lakh as well as other stuff including paper and a printer. Muzaffarnagar was being used to create phoney currency notes in an effort to undermine the nation’s economy. The SOG 2 and Thana Budhana police collaborated on an operation in the town.

Police Uncover Counterfeit Currency in Car Search

Sub-Inspector Rohit Kumar said that the Duster car parked in the passenger shed at the Karnal Highway Kurthal turn was searched based on the information provided by the informant. He claimed that the passengers in the car had fake Indian cash on them. The car’s driver, Mangesh, was seated when it was searched, and numerous bundles of counterfeit Rs 200 notes were found. Additionally, counterfeit money was found on other passengers in the car. After that, a raid was carried out at Saqib’s home on Karbala Road in the town based on their questions to one another.

Six Arrested with Rs 8.3 Lakh Worth of Fake Rs 200 Notes

Saqib and Naseer, residents of Brahmpuri Delhi, were apprehended during the search while fabricating counterfeit Rs 200 notes using a printer they had installed at home. Sagar, Praveen, and Anuj were detained on the spot along with other others who had bogus money. It was found that all six criminals had bogus money totaling Rs 8,29,300, including notes of Rs 200.
