Dehradun News: Heavy rains have caused havoc in the city as the drains of the area are over flowing due to the continuous Down Pour. The water level of the River is also Over Flowing because of the heavy Rains. The administration has asked the citizens to avoid going near the rivers as it is unsafe. People are assuming there is normal water in the river and try to go near the river bank, but it could prove dangerous as there is continuous down pour.
Many trapped in Sarna River, Rescue Operations Underway
Lot of people have been trapped in the Sarna River due to the heavy flow of water. The administration is trying to save the people with the help of ladder, JCB and other sources. On the other hand, people living near the maldevta Area are gradually moving away after seeing the heavy flow of water in the river. The people are shifting to the upper areas in order to take shelter. The Silla Selki Motor route has completely submerged in the river.

The city has been witnessing lots of land slides due to the heavy rains. The authorities have been warning the citizens not to go near the river during Monsoon time.
