Dehradun News: Indira Gandhi Open University has started five skill based Programs for Agniveers recruited in the Army under the Agnipath scheme. These Programs are also in line with the recommendation of the New Education Policy for Higher education. The last date for Application for the second and the third semester has been extended till August 10h. Students can apply at the link at online.ignou.ac.in. IGNOU’s Senior Director said that we have introduced five Programs and it consists of 120 credits. Courses worth 60 credits are offered by IGNOU.

IGNOU signs MOUs with Armed Forces

The remaining credits are offered by Armed Forces. The five Programs introduced by IGNOU are- Bachelor of Arts ( Applied Skills) Bachelor of Arts ( Applied Skills- Tourism & Management) Bachelor of Arts ( Applied Skills- MSME) Bachelor of Commerce ( Applied Skills) Bachelor of Science (MSME-Applied Skills)  

IGNOU announces 5 Skill based Programs for Agniveers

The University has signed Memorandums of Understanding with the Armed Forces, Indian Navy and Indian Army in accordance to the skill based Under Graduate Courses for Agniveers. The main purpose of partnership is to support the Agniveers who are serving in the Army and who want to have a Bachelor’s Degree.
