Dehradun News: Teacher’s Body shares mix opinion on medium of education, Board says will take a call

Dehradun News: The State teachers Association of Dehradun is unhappy with the Atal’s Excellence Schools. The teachers have demanded Uttarakhand Board back in the schools. After this demand of the Teachers organization, the Education Minister has assured that whatever decision will be taken, we’ll consider everyone’s point of view. However some office bearers of the organization have opposed the termination of CBSE affiliation. A State President had written a letter to the authorities mentioning that it is not fair to end the CBSE affiliation of the schools.

Students will benefit from CBSE’

There are mixed reactions of different Board Members and Teachers on the issue. Some of the other teachers are of the opinion that there has been an increase in the number of students in the schools after the affiliation of schools to the CBSE. Children who were studying in private schools were paying heavy fees can now study in Government schools with the same benefits.

Authorities will take a Final call

The Spokesperson of the Ghanand Inter College said that the board should consider the sentiments of the students and the Parents and then take a decision. The CBSE affiliation of these schools should not be terminated. Meanwhile the authorities say that this matter will be discussed separately keeping everyone’s view in mind.
