Dehradun News: City Traffic Police issues advisory for the Assembly session. General Public have been asked to follow route diversions as mentioned by the traffic police of the state. The guidelines have been issued by the Traffic Department so that the commuters and the General Public don’t face any traffic issues while driving or reaching their destinations. The Traffic Department has put barriers at different check points across the city and the vehicles are not allowed to pass through those barriers.
All Heavy Vehicles route diverted
All heavy vehicles have been diverted from Kargi and Doiwala towards Dudhli road. All heavy vehicles will be prohibited at Laltappad, Harrawala and Nayagaon in case of heavy traffic in the Rispana area. Vehicles moving from Doon, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Tehri, and chamoli will be diverted from Nehru Colony Fountain chowk. Vehicles from Dharampuri chowk towars ISBT will be diverted from old bypass chowki via Mata Mandir road.
Traffic Police request Public to use Two Wheelers
Vehicles going from Mussoorie to Mohrampur will be sent from Jogiwala ring road, ladpur, Sahasradhra crossing IT Park. Traffic Police requested drivers to use 2 wheelers as much as possible. In case of heavy traffic, buses coming from Doiwala to Doon will be sent back to Doiwala by taking a U-turn.
