Dehradun News: The Vande Bharat Train will soon run in Uttarakhand. Railway Minister gave clearance to start operations of the train from Lucknow to Dehradun. Apart from this, one night train service will also run from Kotdwar to Delhi. This service was called off during covid, due to which lot of people had to face inconvenience. But now when the services will resume it will benefit lots of commuters. These are similar to the Shatabdi express operated by the Indian Railways. The train was launched in the year 2019 . It is originally known as Train 18. It was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Vande Bharat Train Runs on Five Days
This is India’s first semi high speed train which is equipped with world class passenger facilities. The first Vande Bharat Train was flagged off on the New Delhi –Kanpur and Allahabd Varanasi route on February 15 , 2019. The train runs on five days except Monday and Thursday. The basic fare of an AC Chair car in the train in Rs 12, 87, executie chair car ticket will cost 2661 rupees.

The trains have CCTVs in all the coaches. Mobile Charging sockets are installed with every seat. Automatic Plug doors. Emergency alarm push buttons. Mini Pantry with provision of hot case.
