New Delhi: On Friday, around 9 p.m., the Delhi-Jammu Tawi Rajdhani Express received a bomb threat call; as a result, the train was stopped for inspection at 9:35 p.m. near Sonipat, Haryana. The bomb threat, however, turned out to be a prank call. At two in the morning, the train eventually left the Sonipat station with every passenger on board safe. Swift Response and Thorough Inspection by Authorities to Ensure Passenger Safety
Following the threat call, the Northern Railways reported that a team of bomb disposal experts, Rohtak-based sniffer dogs, and police arrived to the scene and thoroughly inspected the train. According to the initial investigation, there was nothing unusual on the train. Additionally, it was reported that everyone on board was secure. Many passengers expressed their dissatisfaction on Twitter about the train’s two-hour stop at Sonipat station without any justification from the railway authorities.
