Delhi-Meerut Expressway: The National Highways Authority of India imposed ban on people taking selfies near the Delhi Meerut Expressway. NHAI took the step in order to prevent the accidents on the route. People usually stop down from their vehicles and click selfies due to which many accidents were reported in the area. Now the NHAI has put up a ‘No parking’ board so that the people passing by will not stop and will not be able to click pictures. All those people who will not abide by the new rule will be imposed fine.

People shouldn’t risk their lives by clicking Selfies on Highways’

NHAI director said that a lot of people stop their vehicle on the route and try to click pictures of the Aerial Restaurant at the Highway which is risky for the other vehicles who are passing from the same route. The Director has requested the people to travel safely and avoid clicking selfies mid way since its risky for their life as well as the other person’s life also.

Many accident Cases reported in the past

Lot of cases of accidents have also been reported in the past from the Delhi Meerut Expressway while people were visiting the Hawaiian Restaurant. After looking at all these incidents the authorities took this decision of not allowing people to stop on the route.
