Delhi NCR Weather Update : Heavy rainfall lashed the national capital on Wednesday, prompting the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue an advisory and a red alert for the next 24 hours. IMD Advisory and Forecast

The IMD’s advisory reads, “Avoid going to areas that face water logging problems often.” The department has forecasted moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in North Delhi, Central Delhi, New Delhi, South Delhi, South-East Delhi, East Delhi, and the National Capital Region (NCR) over the next two hours.

Weather Conditions Until August 5

According to the IMD, the rainy conditions are expected to persist until August 5. Apart from Delhi, other areas in the NCR have also experienced thunderstorms and light rain.

Precautionary Measures

Residents are advised to stay indoors, monitor weather updates, and take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period of heavy rainfall. The IMD continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates as necessary.
