Delhi News: ‘Run for Vikas Bharat’ was organized by Delhi University and Vikas Bharat Ambassador. Actor Rajkumar Rao, badminton player Saina Nehwal, and other celebrities kicked off the Bharat Run from Delhi University’s North Campus.
Emphasizing the Importance of Vikas Bharat Abhiyan
Saina Nehwal said, “Vikas Bharat Abhiyan is very important. Being a sportsperson, I would say that one should run daily for fitness. But today we are here for a different reason that we build such a future, a country that Build what is best in the world. We are doing very well in every field anyway. But I want us to do even better.”
The State Congress, working with the Vikas Bharat Ambassador, declared that the DU Run for Vikas Bharat program was not organized in accordance with the Model Code of Conduct. State Congress President Devendra Yadav has written a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner expressing his displeasure in this regard.
Alleged Political Motivations
According to Devendra, the BJP is putting on the Run for Vikas Bharat campaign in order to gain an advantage in the Lok Sabha elections. In order to obtain an unfair advantage in the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, the BJP is carrying out its election campaign agenda by promoting the Vikas Bharat Abhiyan program of the Modi government and involving students in it.
Dayal Singh College has also created a poster featuring Modi’s image in relation to Run for Developed India. This clearly transgresses the code of conduct. Together with the complaint, a copy of the Dayal Singh College poster was also provided.
