Delhi News: Following the notification of the Centre’s ordinance in Delhi administrative services, the Ministry of Home Affairs Thursday issued the order to reshuffle 32 IAS officers along with 27 IPS officers with immediate effect. While 11 IAS and 16 officers have been posted to Delhi, six IAS and seven IPS officers have been transferred out.
MHA offers reshuffle of 59 officers
Among the officers involved, IAS officers, Garimal, Sanjay Goel, Gupta Vivek Pandey, and Pawan Kumar Sain have been reassigned to Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Goa, and Delhi, respectively. Meanwhile, Anil Kumar Singh, Pankaj Jha, Ajay Bisht, and Ajay Chagti are being relocated to Delhi from Arunachal Pradesh.
Rahul Singh, Kale Amit, Ankita Mishra, and Nandini Maharaj, who are currently stationed in Delhi, are being sent to States such as Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh, and Chandigarh.
The Ministry has labeled these transfers as routine, adding that some have been pending. However, the development has been viewed as part of the Centre’s ordinance.
Major reshuffling
Senior IPS officer B Srinivasan, who has garnered high praise for his efforts in strengthening the intelligence wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Police will now serve as the Director General of Puducherry Police. Anil Shukla, an IPS officer, has been assigned the role of police chief in Mizoram.
Prior to this, Lalatendu Mohanty was transferred to the Delhi police. He has replaced Manoj Kumar Lal who has been called to Delhi for his further assignment.
