Delhi News: NCR Routes in Turmoil Amidst Farmers’ Protest, Avoid Going on These Routes

Delhi News: In regards to their demands, farmers have established a front against the national government. Farmers are marching towards Delhi today. As a result, there has been a morningtime traffic bottleneck on the Noida–Ghaziabad border. Farmers intend to use the Mahamaya flyover to travel towards Delhi. A traffic alert has been released by Delhi Traffic Police in anticipation of the farmers’ march towards Delhi.

Traffic Alert Issued

According to traffic authorities, there might be a serious traffic bottleneck on the roadways that connect Delhi with Noida and Ghaziabad today. On the other hand, DCP Traffic Noida examined the traffic plans and diversion in light of the farmers’ protest in Delhi. The traffic police officers were also provided with the necessary guidelines.

Helpline for Assistance

The Noida Traffic Police have provided the helpline number 9971009001. At the Delhi-Noida, Chilla border, security has been heightened in light of the farmers’ protest march. On the way from Noida to Delhi, there is a traffic bottleneck at the DND, Chilla, and Kalindi Kunj borders.

Since this morning, traffic bottlenecks have been observed on several major routes in the Delhi-NCR due to the farmers’ march towards Delhi. Individuals travelling nonstop from Delhi to Noida arrived at the office. At the UP Gate and NH-9, travellers from Ghaziabad to Delhi were also observed battling traffic. In Ghaziabad, traffic is moving very slowly on Mohan Nagar Road and GT Road.

Sporadic Movement

Conversely, since the morning, traffic has been moving sporadically on the route that connects Sector-18 and Noida 62. Due to farmers entering Delhi, vehicles were trapped in traffic jams towards GT Road, UP Gate, Maharajpur, and Gyani Border since the morning due to Delhi Police barricading the border area. Additionally, there was traffic congestion on Indirapuram’s internal roadways. At the Gaur crossroads, traffic was still backed up.

Farmers’ Journey Impact

There will be a lot of traffic today, according to Delhi Traffic Police, on the highways that lead to Sonia Vihar, DND, Chilla, Ghazipur, Sabhapur, Apsara, and the Loni border. Plan or postpone your trip as necessary. There might be an issue with traffic congestion on the motorway and the routes going to Delhi because of the farmers’ journey to Delhi. On Thursday, however, Section 144 will continue to be in effect from the Commissionerate in the Gautam Buddha Nagar district. If there is a chance that a throng would congregate without permission or disrupt the peace, police action may be taken.

Protest Assembly Point

Farmers will assemble by the Mahamaya flyover and march in the direction of Delhi. There may be a lot of traffic on the motorway and the routes that lead to Delhi in this kind of circumstance. To do this, head from the Sector-94 Charkha roundabout in the direction of the Botanical Garden, and then towards New Ashok Nagar in the direction of Delhi. Farmers moving towards Chilla will cause traffic on DND to be rerouted. Farmers moving in the direction of DND will cause traffic to cross the Chilla border.

The traffic on Udyog Marg between Sector-1 Gol Chakkar and Jhundpura is scheduled to be stopped. The Rajnigandha crossroads will be the starting point of traffic on this route, heading towards Sector-12-22-56. Traffic heading towards the Sector-1 roundabout from the Jhundupura side will be redirected straight to the Stadium intersection, with an additional detour via Rajnigandha.
