A mega-PTM even was coo organized by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi in collaboration with the Delhi government on Sunday. It aimed to bring out parents’ interest in their wards’ educational pursuits, subject weaknesses, and friend circle among others.
MCD’s Mega-PTM in collaboration with the Delhi government
The mega-PTM saw parents, students, and teachers coming under the same umbrella of both MCD and Delhi government schools. The event was attended by Delhi Mayor Dr Shelly Oberoi who said such Mega PTMs would help parents understand the psyche of their children. She also appealed to parents to actively enroll their children in the Mission Buniyaad program which aims to enhance the learning abilities of children even during vacations.
The Delhi Mayor said that the MCD is committed to the world-class education of all the children in Delhi, irrespective of their economic background. She said Mega-PTM will be instrumental in getting the desired results.

More about the maiden Mega-PTM
The first mega PTM was organised at three municipal schools in the Karol Bagh Zone — Nigam Utkrisht Vidyalaya, R Block New Rajinder Nagar, Nigam Pratibha Co-ed Vidyalaya 28 Block, West Patel Nagar, and Nigam Prathmik Vidyalaya Sudarshan Park, Moti Nagar.
Mayor Oberoi addressed the parents and students during the mega PTM and encouraged them to build a healthy learning environment.
The Mayor further said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s primary focus is education. She said the chief minister has established a world-class education model in Delhi.
She added that the AAP government of MCD would implement the same world-class education model in all MCD schools.
