The Gagangir terrorist attack, which occurred recently, has left the local community in shock. Abdullah expressed his deep sorrow over the incident, stating, “This attack was very unfortunate… Immigrant poor laborers and a doctor lost their lives. What will the terrorists gain from this? Do they think they can create a Pakistan here?”

Farooq Abdullah’s Call to Pakistan – End Terrorism for Better Relations

Abdullah highlighted that the ongoing cycle of terrorism must come to an end. He called upon the leadership in Pakistan to recognise that good relations with India can only be established if they cease their support for such attacks. He stated, “If they want good relations with India, they need to put an end to this. Kashmir Pakistan nahi Banega.” This statement reflects a commitment to the sovereignty of Kashmir and the desire for peaceful coexistence.

Addressing the broader implications of the terrorist attacks, Abdullah warned, “It is time to end terrorism, otherwise the results will be very severe.” He pointed out that continued violence undermines any possibility of meaningful dialogue between the two nations. “How will talks be held if they kill our innocent people?” he questioned, underscoring the importance of protecting lives to foster an environment conducive to peace.
