Ghaziabad News: In a tragic incident on Tuesday morning, at least six people died after a school bus crashed with an SUV near Rahul Vihar, Ghaziabad. Uttar Pradesh. The accident took place on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. “As a result of the collision, the dead bodies were removed after cutting the doors of the car,” officials were quoted as saying. The bodies have been sent for postmortem, the officials informed.
Six dead including two children
The incident left six people dead, including two children. “A school bus and an SUV met with an accident on the Delhi Meerut Expressway at 6 am today. There was a head-on collision. Six person dies while 2 are seriously injured,” said ANI quoting Ramanand Kushwaha, ACDP Traffic Police.
“The incident occurred at 6.04 am on Delhi-Meerut Expressway wherein a TUV which had eight people was hit by a school bus that was coming from the wrong direction. Six of the eight people died and two are critically injured – they are admitted to the hospital. The driver has been arrested, he is being questioned and stringent sections are being invoked in the FIR,” said

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath took to Twitter to pour in tributes for lives lost. “Wishing peace to the departed souls and speedy recovery of the inured. The chief minister has directed the officials of the district administration to provide proper treatment to injured people, “ the CM’s office said in a tweet.
