Ghaziabad News: Due to heavy rains in Delhi NCR, people are facing a lot of problems. Due to flood water in Ghaziabad‘s Karhera and City Forest areas, people are complaining about dampness and cracks in their houses. In some places, there has been waterlogging up to one and a half feet. At the same time, there has been relief from water logging in some places. The team of Health and Municipal Corporation is engaged for the convenience of the people.
Water logging is a big problem
ADM Vivek Srivastava has said that one and a half feet of water has accumulated between Ram Colony, Mahadev Chauraha and Shivchowk in Karhera, while water logging in vacant plots and lower areas will be removed by water pumps. In the next two-three days, the flood-affected people will get relief.
The residents of Karhera have complained about cracks and dampness in their houses due to flood water. On the other hand, there is a possibility of damage to the walls due to accumulation of water in the houses of some people.
Relief camps will be organised
The Municipal Corporation team is engaged in providing relief to the flood affected areas. Sanitization and spraying of anti-larvae is being done so that diseases do not spread due to flood water. Apart from this, on Sunday (July 30), relief camps will be organised by the health department, in which people will be examined and medicines will be given.
