Ghaziabad News: Uttar Pradesh Police arrests five people for allegedly trapping men through dating apps. Out of the five people, two of them are women. These women used to befriend people through texts or watsapp messages and when the person decided to meet one of the women, she was accompanied with a few men and they allegedly threatened him and ask them for money. The accused had trapped several people earlier also with the help of these dating apps.

Delhi Man loses 50000 in Dating App
The incident came to light when a man lodged a report at the Police Station that he is being robbed of 50 thousand by a woman. The man became friendly with a female when he met her in a dating app and decided to meet in person, when she came to meet him in a flat, some other men came over and starting assaulting him physically. These men made a video of this man and threatened him.
Police arrests accuse and registers case
The man gave them 50000 and managed to escape. Soon after the incident, he reached the Police station and registers his complaint. After his complaint, police arrests 5 accused. The accused confessed during the interrogation that they used to trap people with the help of dating app and snatch their money.
