Ghaziabad News: As the number of Diarrhoea patients are increasing in the Hospitals, the Ghaziabad health Department has started checking all the water samples in the area carefully. Water Samples taken from 76 places around the city have failed the required quality test. Most of the failed samples have been found from the sealed bottle water which are selling across the city in every mall and shops.
Many cases of Stomach Infection, liver issues reported
Due to the continuous use of Contaminated water, there has been an increase in the case of stomach related issues including cancer. Many cases coming to the hospitals have symptoms of Diarrhoea, dehydration, liver issues and intestinal problems. Mostly cases are reported from the Government Hospitals. The Health Department started the process of checking all the sources of water after the increase of Diarrhoea cases in the state.
Health Department on alert after rise in cases
According to the Health Department, many samples taken from the Restaurants, Hotels, Swimming Pools and Residential areas have failed the test. The District Surveillance Officer has sent notices to all these water plant operators as well as the administration. The most shocking thing is that most of these samples are from plants that sell sealed water bottles.( As Reported By Navbharat Times)
