Ghaziabad News: The Hindon River in Ghaziabad has crossed the danger mark and is overflowing which is a sign of worry for the city. The water has started entering into many parts of the city leading to jams and chaos all over the area. The residents of Sahibabad are also facing lot of issues in commuting due to water.

NDRF Teams evacuate 7000 people so far

In areas like Farrukhnagar and Mohan Nagar, the water has started entering the houses due to which many houses have been submerged into the water upto 5 feet. People living in these houses have to climb the floors with their children due to the rise in the water level. The NDRF teams are trying to deliver food and clean water to the people living in these areas. These teams have managed to evacuate 7000 people so far.

People living in Low Lying areas have been asked to move to Safer Places

According to the District Administration, the hundreds of people in the Hindon’s Flood Plains have been affected due to the over flowing river and they have moved to the shelter homes with their families. The administration has asked people living in the Low lying areas to move to Safer places.
