Ghaziabad News: UP Housing Board is planning to build a Multi Modal Transit Hub on 80 acres of land in the Vasundhara Township. The Township will be built near the RapidX Transit oriented development area. The Housing Board wants to increase the Floor Area ratio to 5. The land will be bought under the ‘mix use’ category to allow commercial and industrial development. Many Private Builders are showing interest in the project and once it gets approved, bids will announced to pick the builder. The Transit Hub will be built in Sector-7& 8 of Vasundhara Township.
Hub will be less than 3km away from Metro Line
This Multi Modal Transit Hub will be less than 3km away from the blue line of Delhi Metro and near the RapidX corridor. Both sectors will also be connected to the Hindon road and Madan Mohan Malviya road. Apart from this, different arrangements will be made to link the various modes of transport. The Transit Hub is planned keeping many features in mind, road connectivity, schools, hospitals and other important factors.
Bids will be called soon to select the Developer
The current Floor Area Ratio in Vasundhara Township is between 1.5 and 4 and the Housing Board has proposed to increase the floor area ratio to 5 to generate more revenue. Housing Board is thinking of bringing this land under the Mix use category which includes Residential, Commercial and Industrial Units. The authority officials also held a meet to discuss the issue and if everything falls in place then soon bids will be called to select the developer.
