Ghaziabad News

Ghaziabad News: It is intended to expand India’s first RRTS, which currently connects Delhi and Meerut, to Hapur, Shamli, and Bulandshahr. In this sense, preparations have already begun. The quick train will operate from Delhi to Meerut and on to Jewar Airport. General VK Singh, a Ghaziabad MP and the Union’s State Minister for Road Transport, has made this announcement.

NCR Planning Board’s Solution to Traffic Congestion

The NCR Planning Board is moving quickly to offer assistance to the NCR populace. In the NCR and West UP, which includes Delhi, Gurugram, Gautam Buddha Nagar, and Ghaziabad, the population is growing. The traffic system is being impacted by rising population. Motorways are a superior option for reducing traffic on NCR and Western Uttar Pradesh‘s local roads.

Easing Highway Congestion and Expanding Connectivity in Western Uttar Pradesh

We can also state that thanks to the RapidX train service between Delhi and Meerut, there would be reduced traffic on the highways. Rapid train service from Duhai to Jewar is planned. Near Jewar Airport, a RapidX rail station will be constructed. In this sense, preparations have already begun. After that, the western Uttar Pradesh cities of Hapur, Shamli, and Bulandshahr would receive this RapidX.

RapidX Offers Cost-Effective Rates for 82-Kilometer Journeys

One kilometre can be travelled in RapidX for just Rs 2. From Delhi to Meerut, a distance of 82 km, can be travelled in a short amount of time. Between Meerut and Delhi, it will go at a 180 mph rate. Less than Rs 170 will be required for an 82-kilometer trip. Let us remind you that this plan, which will be completed by the year 2025, will only comprise 20% of the Delhi-Meerut Corridor. Then service on the quick train between Delhi and Pallavapuram in Meerut will begin.

The Future of Delhi-Meerut Connectivity and Beyond

After that, it will take just one hour to travel the 82 kilometres between the capital Delhi and Meerut, the largest city in Western UP. People who work in Delhi or Noida will then be able to live in Meerut. Following this, the path will be made clear for the operation of rapid rail in a few additional cities. Nevertheless, a lot will depend on how quickly the government advances the RRT S network.
