Ghaziabad News: Beginning in November, Kaushambi and the old bus station in Ghaziabad will be built. Omaxe Limited Company’s LOI (Letter of Interest) has been signed by Transport Corporation. After performing a survey, the firm urged the Transport Corporation to relocate the bus stops. The construction of both bus stops will follow a PPP (Public Private Partnership) approach.
A Costly Venture with Enhanced Connectivity
Kaushambi bus station construction will cost Rs 266 crore, and the previous bus terminal in Ghaziabad will cost Rs 120 crore. The long-distance buses operated by Kaushambi will leave from Anand Vihar in Delhi. Buses on shorter routes will depart from Kaushambi. Additionally, in order for Transport Corporation to run an increasing number of buses out of Kaushambi, UPCIDA has been asked for 5400 square feet of property. Talks are ongoing with the headquarters, according to Transport Corporation representatives, on where and from where the buses will operate. It will make a decision soon. The original bus stop’s buses will be run from Arthla. By October, all operations, including the relocation of bus stops, will be completed. Beginning in November, bus stops will be built.
The Path to a Modern Kaushambi Bus Stop
With regard to the property, Transport Corporation is in constant negotiations with UPCD. Additionally, there have been numerous meetings with the government. As a result of the land’s continued involvement in litigation, Transport Corporation is unable to acquire it. The use of the land in the public interest will be demanded in court. A 24000 square metre bus stop will be built in Kaushambi. There will be a bus stop built on a 24 000 square metre plot of land. People will receive amenities along airport lines. Restrooms, a cafeteria, an ATM, a canteen, parking, and stores will be available. Kesari Nandan Chowdhary, regional manager for Transport Corporation, stated that the business has received a bid for the construction of the bus stops in Kaushabi and Ghaziabad. The bus stands are currently being moved. By November, the work will have begun.
