Ghaziabad News: In the Vasundhara neighbourhood of Ghaziabad, the Housing Development Council is starting a new township project with a primary goal of reducing individual automobile use. The primary goal of this development is to promote residents’ extensive use of public transportation. The location has been carefully chosen to allow for simple access to the bus, metro, and rapid rail system (RapidX) in order to assist this.
Vasundhara’s Strategic Location
Vasundhara is a well-established township in Ghaziabad that is located just on the boundary with Delhi, according to Housing Development Commissioner Ranveer Prasad. He added that the goal of the project is to build a township that provides its citizens with complete services, including commercial, recreational, and work amenities. We are putting into practise a Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) policy, similar to the Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS), to achieve this. The site for this township, Vasundhara Sector-8, would ensure easy interchanges between multiple forms of public transport, much like the major Rapid Rail stations that are smoothly connected to the Delhi Metro, mainline train stations and major bus terminals. The enormous amount of undeveloped land in this area will support the construction of a high-rise township with significant contributions from builders throughout the state.
Builders from across the state were invited to contribute to the project
The Housing Development Council invited builders from all over the state to contribute to this massive project, expecting an investment of about Rs 5,000 crore. They were asked for recommendations. This significant investment is anticipated to create job possibilities and offer residents first-rate living quarters. The Vasundhara Sector-8 township would set itself apart by providing integrated workspaces, leisure activities, play areas, and commercial buildings close by in addition to residential housing. The accessibility of the surrounding RapidX and Metro stations will also be appreciated by inhabitants, making this township a perfect example of seamless urban living.
