Ghaziabad News: The construction of Railway over bridge over the Railway track started again by the Construction Corporation. This over bridge will connect Madhuban Bapudham Residential scheme to Hapur road from Delhi Meerut road. The Ghaziabad Development authority had paid 3.50 crore to Setu Nirman Nigam , but due to the Non receipt of the installment from GDA, the construction was halted. However the cost of the over bridge construction is hiked by 15% . A Proposal is also passed in the GDA Board meeting about the hike. GDA will now pay the price with the hike to the bridge corporation.

The construction of the over bridge is done by the Setu Nirman Nigam . The Engineer of the project says that the construction has been started again and over 70% of the construction work is completed. He also said that an installment of 3.50 crores has been released by the GDA. GDA also has to pay the outstanding of 4.50 crore for the bridge construction of Hindon River bridge.
Around 60000 People will benefit from the Over Bridge
Over 60 thousand people will benefit from the Railway Over bridge. Commuters travelling from Hapur to Meerut to Ghaziabad will not have to travel 14 kms once the over bridge is ready. GDA spent over 70 crore in this project. The project would have completed 2 years ago but it was halted due to the weak economic condition of GDA.
