Ghaziabad News: On Friday morning, a lightning strike incident along National Highway 9 in Indirapuram’s Makanpur claimed the life of a 13-year-old girl and injured four others. The fatality was confirmed by the Ghaziabad police, who also reported that the injured were taken urgently to a nearby hospital for care.

Lightning Strikes Amid Morning Rain
According to Indirapuram ACP Swatantra Kumar Singh, the event happened at approximately 8.30 am as the city was witnessing heavy rain. “The lightning strike killed one girl while several others were injured and rushed to hospital for treatment. The incident happened in Makanpur near to a temple,” the ACP added.
