Greater Noida News: The city Police has geared up with strict measures to deal with the Anti-Social elements in the city. Over 1500 CCTV cameras have been installed at 100 places to keep an eye on the activities of people around the area. However there is plan to install 4000 CCTV Cameras all across the city. The Footage in the CCTV Cameras will be monitored by the Local Outpost in charge of the area. The plan has been made to deal strictly with the Anti-Social elements of the city. The Plan is named as ‘Operation Drishti’ . It aims to keep an eye on all those people who intend to disrupt the peace of the area.
Over 1500 CCTV Cameras installed
The CCTV cameras are installed in Greater Noida, Alpha Gol Chakkar, Pari Chowk, Surajpur, LG Gol Chakkar and Jagat farm etc. These areas usually receive more crowd as compared to the other areas. According to the Police Officials, the plan is to install 4000 cameras, but currently only 1500 cameras have been installed. The rest will also be put up shortly.
Station In Charge will Monitor the Live Feed
The Outpost Station incharge will keep an eye on the live feed all the time and will take action if any suspicious movement takes place. Cameras were also installed in all the Main markets of the city.
