Haryana News: Today in Rohtak, ML Khattar and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini attended the meeting of the BJP State Election Management Committee.
Cabinet Expansion in Haryana
On Tuesday, the Haryana government led by Nayab Singh Saini appointed eight MLAs as ministers of state (independent in charge), marking the first extension of the cabinet. At the Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh, Haryana governor Bandaru Dattatreya gave the new ministers the oath of office and secrecy. Manohar Lal Khattar, the former chief minister, was also present at the swearing-in ceremony.
Sixth Phase of Voting in Haryana and Karnal Assembly Bypoll
The Election Commission has announced that the sixth phase of voting for the 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana will take place on May 25. On the same day, there will also be a bypoll for the Karnal assembly seat. Following Manohar Lal Khattar’s resignation, the position became vacant.
